Liability for Content

The content of our pages was created with utmost care. However, we cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of the content.

As a service provider, according to § 6 Para.1 MDStV and § 8 Para.1 TDG, we are responsible for our own content on these pages in accordance with general laws. Service providers are not obligated, however, to monitor the foreign information they transmit or store, or to investigate circumstances that suggest illegal activity. Obligations to remove or block the use of information under general law remain unaffected by this. However, liability in this respect is only possible from the point in time at which a specific infringement of the law becomes known. If we become aware of such infringements, we will remove this content immediately.

Liability for Links

Our offer may include links to external third-party websites over which we have no influence. Therefore, we cannot accept any responsibility for this external content. The respective provider or operator of the pages is always responsible for the content of the linked pages. The linked pages were checked for possible legal violations at the time of linking. Illegal content was not recognizable at the time of linking. However, a permanent control of the content of the linked pages is not reasonable without concrete evidence of a legal violation. If we become aware of legal violations, we will remove such links immediately.

The operators of the pages always strive to respect the copyrights of others or to use self-created and license-free works. The content and works created by the site operators on these pages are subject to German copyright law. Contributions from third parties are marked as such. The reproduction, editing, distribution, and any kind of exploitation outside the limits of copyright law require the written consent of the respective author or creator. Downloads and copies of this page are only permitted for private, non-commercial use.

Scope and Controller

This policy covers the website at takka.group and nothing else. Where we link to other sites — GitHub, LinkedIn, or any page referenced above — their own privacy policies apply from the moment you follow the link.

The controller responsible for processing on this site is the company named in the card above. For any question about your data, write to timo@takka.group — it reaches the managing director directly. We have not appointed a data protection officer, as we are not required to.

Hosting and Server Logs

This site is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Serving a page necessarily means your browser connects to Netlify's servers, and those servers keep access logs.

Those logs contain your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, the referring page, and your browser and operating system identifiers. We do not merge this data with anything else and we do not use it to identify individuals. It exists so the site can be delivered securely and so we can investigate faults and attacks.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in a stable, secure website. Because Netlify is based in the United States, processing involves a transfer outside the EU; this is covered by a data processing agreement incorporating the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Contact Form and Email

If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you enter, together with the time of submission and the IP address the submission came from. The form is processed by Netlify Forms, part of the hosting service described above, and submissions are stored in our Netlify account.

We use this data for one purpose: to read your enquiry and answer it. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your message concerns a contract or steps taken before entering one, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in responding to people who write to us.

We keep enquiries until the matter is settled and there is no longer any reason to retain them, unless statutory retention periods under commercial or tax law require us to keep them longer. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time; see section 07.

The same applies if you email or call us directly using the addresses given above.

Spam Filtering

Form submissions are checked for spam before they reach us. Two mechanisms are involved.

The first is a hidden field that human visitors never see and never fill in. If it is filled in, the submission is discarded immediately and no data is stored or transmitted anywhere.

The second is Akismet, operated by Automattic Inc., 60 29th Street #343, San Francisco, CA 94110, USA, which Netlify applies to every submission by default. To classify a message, the content of the form together with your IP address and browser identifier is transmitted to Akismet. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in not being buried in automated spam. This also involves a transfer to the United States.

Fonts, Scripts and Third-Party Content

Every resource this site needs — stylesheets, typefaces, images and JavaScript — is served from takka.group itself. Your browser makes no request to any other provider while the page loads.

There are no embedded maps, videos, social media widgets, web fonts or share buttons anywhere on this site.

Cookies, Analytics and Tracking

This site sets no cookies, uses no local storage, and runs no analytics, tracking, advertising or profiling of any kind. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Your Rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to obtain confirmation of whether we process data about you and to request a copy of it (Art. 15), to have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16), to have your data erased (Art. 17), to have processing restricted (Art. 18), to receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20), and to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21).

Where processing rests on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.

To exercise any of these rights, write to timo@takka.group. We will not charge you for it and we will respond within one month.

Right to Lodge a Complaint

If you believe we are handling your data unlawfully, you may complain to a supervisory authority — in the member state where you live or work, or where the alleged infringement took place.
